My dashboard is not loading or is showing an error
If your EngageRocket dashboard is loading slowly, showing a blank screen, or displaying an error message, here is what to check.
Dashboard loading issues are almost always caused by your browser, connection, or a temporary platform issue — not your data. Work through the steps below before contacting support.
Steps to try
- Refresh the page. Press Ctrl+R (Windows) or Cmd+R (Mac) for a hard refresh. Sometimes a single page fails to load correctly and a refresh resolves it.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies. Cached data can interfere with how the dashboard loads. Clear your cache in your browser settings, then reload the page.
- Try incognito or private mode. Open a new incognito window and navigate to your dashboard. If it loads correctly there, a cached file or browser extension is causing the issue.
- Disable browser extensions. Ad blockers, security tools, or privacy extensions can block parts of the dashboard from rendering. Temporarily disable all extensions and try again.
- Try a different browser. EngageRocket works best on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. If you are using an older browser or Safari, try switching.
- Check your internet connection. Run a speed test or try loading another website to confirm your connection is stable.
- Check if others in your organisation are affected. If multiple people are experiencing the same issue simultaneously, it may be a platform-side problem — contact support immediately.
💡 Good to know: If a specific dashboard page is broken but others load fine, note the exact URL of the broken page and any error message you see. Include these details when contacting support — they help us investigate faster.
Something not working?
- The dashboard loads in incognito but not normally — A browser extension is causing the conflict. Disable extensions one by one to identify which one is responsible.
- I see an error message on the dashboard — Take a screenshot of the error and contact support. Include the URL, the error message, and the browser and version you are using.
- The dashboard is loading extremely slowly — Check your internet speed. If your connection is fine, the platform may be experiencing high load. Try again in a few minutes, or contact support if the issue persists.
