My dashboard is not showing data or is loading slowly
If your EngageRocket dashboard appears empty or is taking too long to load, here is how to diagnose the cause.
There are several reasons why dashboard data might not appear or might load slowly. Most of them are easy to identify by working through the checks below.
If your dashboard is showing no data
- Check if the survey has closed. Dashboard results are only available after a survey has ended. If your survey is still live or in draft status, no results will appear yet.
- Check your dashboard permissions. You may only have access to your own team's data. If you expected organisation-wide results but only see your unit, your permission is set to 'View own team's data'. Contact your Entity Admin if you need broader access.
- Check the anonymity threshold. EngageRocket protects respondent confidentiality. If too few people from your unit completed the survey, results for that group will be hidden. This is by design and cannot be overridden.
- Check your filters. If you have applied filters (by date, unit, or demographic), they may be hiding data. Reset all filters to the default view and check again.
- Refresh the page or log out and back in. A fresh session sometimes resolves display issues after a survey closes.
If your dashboard is loading slowly
- Check your internet connection. Run a speed test or try loading another website.
- Try a different browser or clear your cache. Older cached data can slow down page rendering.
- Allow time for large datasets. Surveys with a high number of respondents may take a few moments to load fully. If it takes more than 2 minutes, contact support.
⚠️ If data was showing before but has now disappeared: Do not make any changes. Contact our support team immediately with a screenshot of what you are seeing and the survey project name. This may indicate a data issue that needs investigation.
Something not working?
- Some dashboard tabs are missing — Specific tabs (such as Hotspots) require additional dashboard permissions. Ask your Entity Admin to review your access settings.
- The trend chart shows only one data point — Trend data requires at least two closed surveys within the same project.
