My activation link has expired, what to do?
Your invitation link is only valid for 7 days — here is how to get a new one and complete your account setup.
EngageRocket invitation and activation links are valid for 7 days from when they are sent. If you did not complete your account setup within that window, the link will no longer work — but getting back on track is straightforward.
How to get a new link
- Go to the EngageRocket login page.
- Click 'Forgot password?' below the Sign In button.
- Enter the email address your original invitation was sent to.
- Click 'Send reset link'. You will receive a new email within a few minutes.
- Open the email, click the reset link promptly, and follow the steps to set your password and activate your account.
💡 Alternative — ask your Entity Admin to resend: Your Entity Admin can also resend your invitation directly from the Entity Users tab. They will find your account with a status of 'Expired' and can click 'Resend Invitation' to give you a fresh 7-day window.
Something not working?
- I used 'Forgot password?' but got an error saying my account doesn't exist — Your account may not have been fully created yet. Ask your Entity Admin to re-invite you using the correct email address.
- I received the new link but it also expired before I could use it — Reset links expire quickly. Request a new one and use it within 1 hour. Keep the email open and act on it promptly.
