My activation link has expired, what to do?

Your invitation link is only valid for 7 days — here is how to get a new one and complete your account setup.

EngageRocket invitation and activation links are valid for 7 days from when they are sent. If you did not complete your account setup within that window, the link will no longer work — but getting back on track is straightforward.

How to get a new link

  1. Go to the EngageRocket login page.
  2. Click 'Forgot password?' below the Sign In button.
  3. Enter the email address your original invitation was sent to.
  4. Click 'Send reset link'. You will receive a new email within a few minutes.
  5. Open the email, click the reset link promptly, and follow the steps to set your password and activate your account.

💡 Alternative — ask your Entity Admin to resend: Your Entity Admin can also resend your invitation directly from the Entity Users tab. They will find your account with a status of 'Expired' and can click 'Resend Invitation' to give you a fresh 7-day window.

Something not working?

  • I used 'Forgot password?' but got an error saying my account doesn't exist — Your account may not have been fully created yet. Ask your Entity Admin to re-invite you using the correct email address.
  • I received the new link but it also expired before I could use it — Reset links expire quickly. Request a new one and use it within 1 hour. Keep the email open and act on it promptly.
