Employee Privacy Notice

Overview

This notice explains how personal data is processed when employees participate in surveys conducted using the EngageRocket platform. It is intended to be shared with employees before survey participation, in line with applicable data protection laws.

Who is responsible for your data?

  • Your employer is the Data Controller and determines the purpose and use of survey data.
  • EngageRocket Pte. Ltd. acts as a Data Processor, processing personal data strictly on behalf of your employer and in accordance with their instructions.

Why is your data processed?

Personal data is processed for the purpose of:

  • conducting employee engagement, experience, or feedback surveys;
  • analysing survey responses in aggregate to support organisational insights;
  • improving workplace culture, engagement, and related people initiatives.

EngageRocket does not use employee survey data for advertising or unrelated purposes.

What personal data is collected?

Depending on your employer’s survey configuration, this may include:

  • basic identifiers (e.g. employee ID, work email, department, role);
  • survey responses provided by you;
  • technical information required to operate the survey securely (e.g. timestamps)

Survey responses are typically reported in aggregated or anonymised form, in accordance with your employer’s settings.

How long is data retained?

Personal data is retained in line with:

  • your employer’s retention requirements; and
  • contractual arrangements between your employer and EngageRocket.

Where applicable, data is securely deleted or anonymised once it is no longer required.

How can you exercise your data protection rights?

As your employer is the Data Controller, requests relating to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection should be directed to your employer’s HR or data protection contact.

Your employer may coordinate with EngageRocket where required to fulfil your request.
