What are unique IDs for?

The Unique Identifier (Unique ID) is a string of text and/or numbers that is unique to each employee that allows the EngageRocket back-end application to identify the survey respondent.

You can enter the unique ID manually when you add employees in-app or when you import your employee list. 

The primary use for an unique ID is to identify an employee when they do not have an email address. It is a method developed by EngageRocket to invite employees without email addresses to participate in the survey

The unique ID entered for the employee will then be used to match the Access Code entered by the employee when they access the survey through clicking the invitation link distributed by the company survey administrators.
