Uploading Your Organisational Chart
Learn how to seamlessly upload and map your organisation structure in just a few simple steps
Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date organizational chart is crucial for effective data management, reporting, and fostering clarity within your workforce. As the foundational first step before initiating any project, uploading and mapping your organizational chart is essential. It underpins your employee engagement initiatives and provides a clear view of your company's structure. This guide provides a clear, step-by-step process for uploading and editing your organizational chart.
Navigate to the Organizational Chart Upload Page
1. To begin, click on the “Employees” tab located on the top navigation bar.
2. From the left-hand side panel, select “Organizational Chart”.
3. Click on the “Bulk Actions” button. A dropdown menu will appear; choose “Import Units” from this menu.
4. If you do not yet have a template, you can easily obtain the correct format by clicking “Download Template”.
5. If you already have a pre-populated template with your organizational data, simply drag and drop the file directly into the upload area or click to upload it.
6. Once your template is successfully uploaded, you’ll rec3eive a confirmation. The review import details will also show whether employees were added, updated, or removed.
7. After uploading, it is critical to carefully review the organizational chart that appears. Ensure that the unit hierarchy is structured correctly, paying close attention to levels such as Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and so on, to confirm accuracy.
8. If the uploaded file is incorrect, click on “Discard Changes and Import a new file” to re-upload the amended file.
9. Final Confirmation and Verification, once you have thoroughly reviewed the organizational chart and are confident that all details are accurate, click on “Confirm Unit”.
