Creating Onboarding Surveys (Step 3): Communications

Customise your survey invitation and reminders.

By the time you arrive at the communications setup page, you should have already completed your onboarding survey settings, questionnaires and added your survey recipients.

Here at communications setup, you will be able to:

  1. Schedule the time to which your email invites and reminders will be sent

  2. Choose the options to which your recipients can access the survey

  3. Customise the content for your communications (invite and reminders)

Some tips on writing a good email invitation and reminder

  • Make your email subject lines engaging and inclusive

  • Get right to the survey objectives and detail what's in it for employees

  • Deliver a compelling call-to-action and set a deadline

You are now ready to kick-start your onboarding survey

Great! You’re almost done, once you click ‘Next Step’ on the communications setup page, you will be brought to a summary page of your set-up. Once ready, click on 'Launch Survey'!

What happens to new hires after I've launched my survey?

You may view Onboarding surveys as a programme that can enroll any employees at any given time. Once you've added the new hire into the employee database, you may simply click on 'Manage' recipients under the Surveys tab.
